CERAMIS® R&D Line in the R&D Center of Neuhausen (Switzerland)
The SiOx coating technology has been developed by Alcan Packaging's R&D Center in Neuhausen (Switzerland).
Since 1990 the R&D Line has essentially contributed to the quality and the properties of the CERAMIS® films, i.e. regarding
- the optical properties
- the plasma pre-treatment for the excellent SiOx adhesion on the carrier film
- the stability of the coating process
- the good convertability of CERAMIS® films
Due to the close cooperation with the CERAMIS® production in Kreuzlingen the latest developments can be directly implemented there.
