Transparent SiOx barrier films for ultimate product protection
CERAMIS® high barrier films incorporate an inorganic barrier layer with a well balanced property profile. They exhibit outstanding barrier properties against gases and aromas – not only during and after sterialization, but also under extrem climatic conditions. In addition, they offer excellent protection against water vapour. They serve as the barrier layer in lidding and pouch laminates as well as in other packaging solutions.
Furthermore, all silicon oxide coated CERAMIS® films combine optical clarity with their excellent barrier properties.
